It’s Day 346 of President Trump’s second term. No one has lost their Social Security, Medicare, or veterans’ benefits in spite of constant media and leftist lies.



Looking Back
 
We’re getting ready to say goodbye to 2025. From the inaugurations of Donald Trump and J.D. Vance to the assassination of Charlie Kirk, it has been a year of tremendous highs and terrible lows. But the Trump/Vance administration has also given us much to celebrate.

• Instead of open borders and record illegal immigration, we now have secure borders and record-low illegal immigration.

• Instead of job-destroying, budget-busting, inflationary policies, we have record tax reform, reduced deficits, and real wage growth.

• Instead of ever-expanding big government, government is shrinking fast. The Department of Education is finally being dismantled. The Pentagon is being purged of woke policies because woke doesn’t win wars.

• Instead of a federal government that routinely assaulted religious liberty, censored citizens, and persecuted its political opponents, we have a government that is committed to religious liberty, freedom of speech, the rule of law, and the integrity of our elections.

• Instead of a federal government that aggressively promoted abortion on demand and pushed transgender insanity on our children, we now have a government that is defunding Planned Parenthood, promoting a culture of life, and affirming the biblical and biological reality that God created us male and female.

 
 
My Prayer For 2026
 
New Year’s resolutions are popular items this time of the year. A recent survey found that among Americans who are making New Year’s resolutions, 61% chose things like “spending more time with friends and family,” “improving relationships with friends and family,” “praying more,” and “focusing on spiritual matters.”
 
These folks are on the right track! If we could ask for just one thing in the New Year, I believe it should be that America would turn back to the God of the Bible. 
 
Our nation is facing multiple challenges, many of which can be traced to the decline of our Christian faith. We have an epidemic of broken families and children without fathers in the home. There are epidemics of despair, depression, drug addiction, and gender confusion. We need a revival!
 
Our nation was founded by people who came here to freely worship God. Christian pastors gave birth to the revolutionary fervor that won our War of Independence. And our founders boldly declared that our liberty comes from God, not government. 
 
My prayer for 2026 is that America will rediscover the wisdom and truth of the Bible and turn our hearts back to the God who loved us so much that He gave us His only begotten son.
 
 
 
The Battle Ahead
 
As much as I would love to end this final “End of the Day” report for 2025 right there, it would be naive to do so. Western Civilization, including the United States, is in deep, deep trouble. The dangers are everywhere, and they are imminent.
 
There is a resurgence of radical Islam and antisemitism around the world that threatens Judeo-Christian civilization. From Berlin to Bondi Beach, London to Paris, and Minneapolis to New York City, the barbarians are already inside the gates.
 
From the economic and military threats of communist China to the threats of domestic violence by revolutionary communists here at home, including Antifa and Transtifa, our freedoms are under siege by enemies both foreign and domestic.
 
And while we look forward to celebrating 250 years of American exceptionalism next year, whether there will be an America to celebrate its 300th anniversary 50 years later remains a disturbingly open question.
 
But this much I know for certain: This trouble cannot possibly be solved without the active involvement, at all levels of our society, of Christian men and women and the grace of God.
 
That is what my nonprofit public policy organization, American Values, is all about!
 
We are spending long hours and many resources right now preparing for what is going to be the biggest clash in America over who we are since the Civil War.
