Why does this deadline matter so much?
 
Because on January 15, every campaign must publicly report the total amount raised between October 1 and December 31. That number sends a clear message—either strength or weakness—to our opponents. It’s critical that we report a strong total and show Democrats that this campaign has real, unstoppable momentum.
 
And yes, that matters—even with the general election still months away.
 
Why?
 
Because just in the past month, Democrats have already spent over $100,000 flooding my district with dishonest television ads attacking my record of service. They’re doing this now because they’re afraid of what we’ve accomplished—and what we’re going to keep accomplishing.
 
They’re afraid because we’ve delivered real results:

- Reimbursing Texas for border security operations
- Leading the fight—alongside President Trump—against the Mexican cartels
- Passing legislation to ban taxpayer funding for gender-transition procedures on minors
- Advancing breakthrough research to treat veterans suffering from PTSD and TBI
Even Speaker Johnson has said I am “our point man in Congress when it comes to addressing the ongoing threat of the drug cartels.”
 
I’m proud of that record—and our work is far from finished.
 
Democrats know they can’t win this district outright, so they’re trying a familiar playbook: spend early, lie loudly, and interfere in GOP primaries to weaken strong, conservative candidates before voters ever get their say.
 
We cannot let them succeed.
