You Rose to the Moment

The virus, the school closings and the recession have made for a
hunger crisis like none other in recent memory. In fact, 1 in 4 kids
may experience hunger this year. But during tragedies heroes rise, and
we count you among them. Through your generosity, No Kid Hungry was
able to make more than $20 million in emergency grants to all 50
states, Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia.

It comes down to this: because of you, children were fed. And we are
so grateful.

Raising Our Voices for Hungry Kids

Government aid has always been a critical source of food aid for
hungry kids and families, and with the coronavirus existing aid
programs were not going to meet the need. The No Kid Hungry advocacy
team has led efforts to persuade federal and state governments to make
food aid like SNAP more widely available during the crisis.
