Happy New Year

I’ve been sending out Net News for a bit less than 20 years, and this will be my last as I have moved from the area and others on staff will take over this role. I hope some of it has been helpful to you. I’ll depart with a brief statement that I believe is on brand with the various United Methodist missions, visions, slogans and campaigns we’ve had: Be kind. Not just fair, professional or even courteous, but kind. You can practice on people you are close to, but once you’ve built your confidence up a bit try working your way up to being kind to people you don’t like. It’s our best shot at change.
