My name is Kevin Mahmalji, and I’m the director of outreach and engagement for NORML.
I'd like to start out by thanking you for your support and dedication to ending marijuana prohibition in the nation’s capital! As you know, NORML chapters play an instrumental role in carrying our message of marijuana law reform to lawmakers and other stakeholders on the local, state and federal level, so I'm grateful for all that you do.
As we continue to make progress towards ending marijuana prohibition, it’s imperative that we have a solid framework in place so NORML’s presence can grow along with the increasing need for marijuana law reform advocacy. That’s why we’re contacting you today. We’re looking for talented, smart, and passionate community leaders to join us in the fight to legalize marijuana and help us grow NORML’s local presence in DC.
