For months, our campaign has been sounding the alarm about AIPAC, the pro-Israel lobby group funded by MAGA billionaires that has become the main vehicle for GOP dark money to meddle in Democratic primaries.

AIPAC jumped into this race on behalf of a “moderate Democrat.” They got caught trying to conceal more than $300,000 in donations funneled into that campaign. Then they hosted a private fundraiser at the LA law office of AIPAC’s own board president.

And behind the scenes they went even further, pressuring “Democrat” Bruce Leon to drop out of the race to consolidate behind their chosen candidate. Last night, Leon bowed out like a good little boy.



MAGA has now taken complete control of the Democratic primary in IL-9.

This should outrage every Democrat. If the Democratic Party is going to be restored to its former glory, we cannot let MAGA billionaires kneecap some of the best and brightest upcoming leaders.

Democrat Bushra Amiwala is the leader MAGA is desperate to stop in IL-9. She is a young Democrat running on a bold, working-class, progressive vision. She brings the rare combination of real experience and youth that Democrats so desperately need.
