Proud and Empowered

Wednesdays & Fridays starting January 7

Make friends and build confidence while learning coping skills, social skills, and ways to handle peer pressure and stress. Open to ages 13–22 years old.

Metrocards and meals are provided at each session. A $125 stipend will be awarded for consistent attendance.

Holiday Operating Hours

The Center offices and programs will be closed on January 1 in observance of the federal holidays. The building will be open from 5:00 - 9:00 pm for meetings and groups. Please check with your facilitator for more information.

Our lobby operating space is now available! Our former café space is now vacant. With the new vacancy, The Center is excited to explore new possible uses of this space. This could be a new vending opportunity or other service to support our diverse community while contributing to a welcoming lobby environment. Have an idea for what should come next? Review our RFP!
