I gotta be honest with you: my team just let me know that we have until midnight tonight to close out the year + right now, we’re $2,000 short of where we need to be.
$2000 short. Not millions. Not some Super PAC–kind of number. $2,000.
I wanted to write to you myself today and ask something simple: What if the reason we finish this year strong is you?
This year, we took on corruption head-on. We forced accountability when powerful people hoped we wouldn’t. We stood up for communities who are too often targeted and ignored. And we did it knowing full well that fighting this hard puts a big target on your back.
Here’s what they always underestimate: we don’t break. When they try to push us out, we organize. When they try to drown us out, we get louder. And when they think they can brush us off, we make that a mistake.
We’ve done it before and with your support, we're going to do it again.
I’ve never believed this work was about me. It’s always been about people. About showing up for each other and proving that collective care is a real political force — stronger than any billionaire checkbook.
Tonight matters because these end-of-year numbers are public. They tell the story of whether a people-powered movement like ours is standing strong or standing alone. And I don’t intend to give anyone — especially the folks rooting against us — a reason to think we’re backing down.
I believe the year ahead can be different. I believe we can get this country back on the right track. And I believe that when we fight with clarity, courage, and love for one another — we win.
