We’re facing an important FEC deadline tonight -- and it actually matters.
Every campaign is legally required to report their fundraising totals to the Federal Election Commission. This isn’t just a gimmick. It’s real, it’s public, and how much we raise before the year is over sends a powerful message about the strength of our movement.
While asking for money is far from my favorite part of my job, it’s necessary if we want to run a strong organization -- one that can actually help Democrats win elections, stand up to the Trump administration and hold them accountable, and make progress on the issues that matter in people’s everyday lives.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
That work matters deeply to me, not only for Hawai‘i but for communities across the country. And none of it happens without your support.
So yes, these deadlines still matter. And I want you to know how grateful I am for everything you’ve done this year to support our team and for all the ways I know you’ll show up again as we look ahead to 2026. Your involvement, your engagement, and your generosity make a real difference.
This is the last time I’ll ask before the year is over: Will you make a contribution to support my work helping to elect Democrats this cycle? If you’re able to chip in a few dollars before the end of the day, I’d really appreciate it.
This is the fight of our time -- thanks for being a part of it.
Mahalo and happy new year to you and your families,
Brian
