Here’s why reaching this goal matters so much:

The end of the month is a major filing deadline for California
gubernatorial campaigns. Every candidate—including my opponents—has to
tell the world exactly how much money they’ve raised.

I’ve been through deadlines like this before, so I can tell you first hand
that everyone will be watching our numbers extremely closely. If we look
weak, national Republicans could look to give more support to the GOP
candidates who have been leading the polls. That could box Democrats out
of the general election altogether!

We can’t afford for that to happen—not with our California values at
stake. But I’m not worried because this grassroots team has had my back
