Earlier this week, friends, we set a modest goal of raising $75,000 by the end of the year.

At the time I’m writing this, we’re a little more than $12,000 away.

Working people know that something is wrong in our country. Donald Trump offered an explanation for what that was, but it’s becoming clear to even his die-hard supporters that he was blowing smoke.

A reckoning is at hand. Hitting our goal means that the Sanders Institute will have a powerful voice to tell the story of how corporate and billionaire greed is hollowing out our nation.

Together, we can rebuild our country with justice as its north star― economic justice, environmental justice, racial justice and social justice.

But the entrenched interests won’t give up without a fight. The Sanders institute is here to be the think tank that pushes things forward, even when organized money fights back.

Big Corporations won’t fund this fight. It’s going to take all of us, a few dollars at a time, to build this movement. Can you chip in and help us hit our $75,000 fundraising goal?
