Dear Friend,

Glennon Doyle once wrote, “What is it that affects you so deeply that whenever you encounter it, you feel the need to look away? Look there…

The thing that breaks your heart is the very thing you were born to help heal.”

“That perfectly described what happened to me,” said Layne Shill, a Director at NCOSE.

“I lived in Russia for a year and a half as a missionary. While living there, I became close with several women who had been formerly prostituted. It was the first time this issue stopped being a distant, abstract concept, something referenced in movies or news stories. It became very real,” she explained.

“These were women I knew and loved, and they were living with the daily aftermath of exploitation

. I came home from Russia deeply affected, heartbroken, and determined to do something meaningful about what these women had endured.”

While in college, Layne looked for opportunities to try and combat these problems, but most of the work by mission-driven organizations, while good, was reactionary. She wanted to stop exploitation

before

it started.

“That’s when I discovered The National Center on Sexual Exploitation. Immediately, it felt different.”

At NCOSE, we’re focused on stopping sexual exploitation at its roots. Prevention is the key.

Right now, you have a unique opportunity to contribute to this mission of prevention in a BIG way.

Thanks to a benevolent donor,

every gift you make from now until December 31st will be DOUBLED.

With only a few more days until the end of the 2025

,

don’t miss this incredible opportunity to maximize your impact!

As always, thank you for your unwavering support for our mission.

Gratefully,
