Hi John,

2025 sure was… a year.

But it wasn’t all bad news. Our Youth Voices ambassadors wanted to end the year on a high, so they scoured the headlines [[link removed]] for good news for LGBTQ+ youth.

Some of their favorites: We elected a historic number of LGBTQ+ leaders across the country—proof that representation is still expanding even when the rhetoric gets nasty. And Chappell Roan launched the Midwest Princess Project to support organizations showing up for trans youth in tangible, direct ways.

It Gets Better also celebrated its 15th anniversary. Earlier this month, we received an official proclamation from the City of West Hollywood in honor of our efforts to uplift, empower, and connect LGBTQ+ youth around the globe.

Now here’s the part where I ask you to put that hope to work.

Today is the last day of the year, and It Gets Better is 95% of the way to our end-of-year goal—less than $10,000 away. That’s a big deal in a year when a lot of people dialed back support for LGBTQ+ nonprofits.
