• Signed an Executive Order that strips voter protections and hands power to election deniers.
• Attacked vote-by-mail and enacted restrictions to make it harder for states to run their own free and fair elections.
• Gerrymandered Republican-controlled states to suppress voters and protect GOP Congressmen who voted to slash health care and food assistance.

John, this is not only an all out assault on democracy – but a downright dangerous and illegal power grab to rig the system. That's why my team and the Democratic Governors Association are suing the Trump administration to defend voting rights.

I’m proud to be on the front lines along with Dem govs nationwide. We’ve taken Trump to court before and won, but the fight for our democracy is not over, John: As this year comes to a close, we all need to steel ourselves for the battles ahead. We can never lose sight of what we need to do to protect free and fair elections while Trump threatens them right in front of us.
