There is a new fish management tool where stocking a particular fish species — with some special characteristics — can help eliminate that same fish species from a waterbody over time. And, the Wyoming Game and Fish Department is getting in on that action.

Shoshoni youth sets world record with largemouth bass catch

It’s fitting that someone with the last name “Bass” would make angling history. Tucker Bass, 12, of Shoshoni, has officially set a new world record recognized by the International Game Fish Association.
