John, I’ll cut
straight to the chase.

On December 31st, our campaign faces a critical fundraising deadline.
Here’s why this matters:

After our deadline, we will be required, by law, to report our fundraising
data to the Federal Election Commission, or the FEC. Soon after, those
numbers will be posted publicly for everyone to see.

Yes, that includes Raja Krishnamoorthi, my MAGA-funded Democratic
opponent. People like Donald Trump and ICE commander Gregory Bovino, who
want nothing more than to keep me away from Washington. And of course, the
public and our supporters, including you. It’s a big deal.

But that’s not the only reason why this deadline matters. This is our
FINAL quarterly FEC fundraising deadline before the primary election, and
our final chance to show all the naysayers that our grassroots movement
has what it takes to beat a Corporate PAC and MAGA-backed opponent.

Come January, I have not a single doubt that my opponent and Trump’s MAGA
cronies will be refreshing the FEC site to see if our people-powered
movement has the momentum to win. They want to see soft numbers. They want
proof that grassroots organizing isn’t enough to defeat special interests.

I refuse to let that be true.

But to be transparent: at our current pace, we’re projected to fall short
of where we need to be before we file. And that gap can only be closed if
the people who believe in this movement step up with whatever they can.

If you’re wondering whether $5 or $10 makes a difference, hear me clearly:
it does. Our campaign is powered by teachers, students, nurses,
organizers, retirees — and every dollar adds up when we’re all pitching
in.

So as we head into the home stretch of this campaign, I’m asking from the
heart:

reflects the strength and determination of our movement on December 31st?

What we show on December 31st will define the narrative heading into the
