We’re sorry to be so blunt, but with two critical deadlines ahead of us — our December 31st FEC deadline, and the Kansas GOP’s gerrymandering plan on January 12th — this really isn’t a moment that calls for subtlety.

But if you’re on the fence, or you just need a little more information before giving (which we totally understand!), here are three reasons we hope will make a difference:

1. This is our most important deadline of the year. Not long after the new year, we’ll be required by law to release our yearly fundraising report for everyone to see. That report will tell a story to National Republicans. It’ll tell them whether we have what it takes to win… or if we’re more vulnerable than they thought. That’s why we need to blow our goal out of the water.
2. Trump’s gerrymander is settled nearly everywhere else… except Kansas. We’re the final holdout. And that means we have Donald Trump’s full attention. But if this team steps up, chips in, and helps Sharice take down Trump’s gerrymander on January 12th? It’ll send him a message even he can’t ignore.
3. Sharice is no ordinary Congresswoman. If you think Congress is full of too many out-of-touch, cookie-cutter politicians… Sharice is right there with you. But her background stands out: she’s a former MMA fighter, an LGBTQ+ Native American woman, and a first-generation college graduate. And she’s brought those perspectives to everything she does in Washington.

Please, if any of those reasons convince you, will you rush $3 to Sharice Davids before our deadline at midnight tomorrow?
