There’s no way around it: our campaign looks different this year. Despite the obstacles, our core campaign values remain the same. We are still a community-focused campaign that prioritizes togetherness and fellowship, and that’s why digital communication is our most powerful tool.

Digital communication is ingrained into every aspect of this campaign. In a time where we can’t be physically together, online communication tools are how we create and maintain meaningful relationships with our supporter network.

Our campaign has intentionally used digital communication to grow and foster community within Team Spanberger by hosting, virtual phone bank parties and online outreach training sessions, hosting virtual block parties -including an upcoming kid-friendly event - and sending enhanced volunteer newsletters with spotlights on our volunteers and staff introductions.

MEANWHILE, IN CONGRESS, ABIGAIL HAS BEEN FIGHTING FOR WIDER ACCESS TO TECHNOLOGY FOR THOSE IN NEED.

ABIGAIL KNOWS HOW VITAL ACCESS TO THESE TECHNOLOGIES CAN BE FOR EMPLOYMENT PROSPECTS, SCHOOL PERFORMANCE, AND KEEPING IN TOUCH WITH OTHERS.

She is leading bipartisan legislation that will provide refurbished government computers to veterans, students, and seniors.

THESE COMPUTERS MAY NO LONGER BE IN USE FOR GOVERNMENT PURPOSES, BUT CAN MAKE AN INCREDIBLE IMPACT IN PEOPLE’S LIVES, ALLOWING THEM TO ACCESS JOB OPPORTUNITIES, HEALTH, AND COMMUNITY RESOURCES, AND STAY IN TOUCH WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS.

As much of our economy becomes reliant on digital technology, especially during this pandemic, having access to computers shouldn’t be limited to only those who can afford it. EVERY DAY, ABIGAIL CONTINUES TO FIGHT FOR EVERY SINGLE VIRGINIAN, ENSURING THAT NO ONE GETS LEFT BEHIND.
