John --
In December 2024, I was sworn into the State Assembly with a simple but important promise: to fight for a government that works as hard for our communities as the people we serve do for their families. I have carried that promise with me every day.
As I reflect on my first year, I am so incredibly proud of what we have accomplished together:
- Seven bills I authored were signed into law by the Governor.
- My office responded to thousands of constituent inquiries and hosted town halls, senior scam prevention seminars, and cultural events that brought our neighbors together.
- In Sacramento, I served on the Judiciary, Health, and Elections Committees, among others, helping pass laws that will improve the lives of all Californians.
- I founded the Italian Caucus of California and now serve as Chair of the Legislature’s Gun Violence Prevention Working Group.
In one year, we’ve built real momentum, but this is only the beginning. The progress we’ve made together shows what’s possible when we stay focused on delivering a government that works for everyone.
In 2026, I will be running for reelection to continue representing you and the neighborhoods I care so deeply about. My focus is on delivering a safer, more affordable California that lifts up our families and our neighbors, and ensures no one is left behind.
My first major fundraising deadline is December 31, and I am still $5,000 short of my goal. I'm asking for your help today. If you can, please consider making a contribution before the end of the year HERE <[link removed]>.
Your support will ensure our campaign enters the new year with the momentum and resources we need to keep delivering for San Francisco and San Mateo County.
Please make a contribution before the end of the year today. <[link removed]>
