Dear John,

NDWA’s Finance team here!

You don’t hear from us that often because we like to keep our emails focused on organizing and creating real-world change for domestic workers and our allies. But the 2025 fiscal year is about to end so we’re writing to make an important request.

So far hundreds of YOU have contributed to our year-end fundraising drive. We’re thrilled by this response.

But we've been looking at our numbers and we’re still $19,505 short. There are only two days left in 2025 - will you chip in 26 for 2026 and help close this fundraising gap?

Yes, I’ll chip in $26.00 to help raise $19,505 in the next 48 hours.

Yes, I’ll chip in another amount.

At NDWA, we value every donation that’s made - whatever the size - because the way we create change is through an engaged community of people pitching in and taking action together. This coming year, we have big plans:

  1. Defend immigrant families and communities. We’re scaling deportation defense and Know Your Rights education so domestic workers aren’t facing raids, detention, or family separation alone.

  2. Win real protections for working Americans and our families. From overtime pay to Domestic Worker Bills of Rights, we’re pushing bold policy wins at the state and local level that put money, safety, and dignity back into workers’ hands.

  3. Grow our movement with a new membership model. We’re expanding our national membership so more workers can access support, benefits, leadership training, and a collective voice in this moment of crisis.

  4. Turn fear into collective action. We’re creating spaces for workers to heal, learn, and act together because community is our strongest defense against authoritarian attacks.

  5. Protect the future of care. From fighting Medicaid cuts to confronting new threats like worker surveillance and AI, we’re shaping a care economy that works for American workers, not just  corporations.

…and there’s a lot more in the pipeline.

By chipping in 26 right now (or whatever you can afford), you’ll ensure that we don’t have to cut back on any of this organizing in 2026. We can’t afford to start off the new year behind - this work is too important. Will you chip in right now?

Yes, I’ll make a year-end donation to The National Domestic Workers Alliance.

Thanks and peace,

The NDWA Finance Team
