If you live in CA-08, you are probably familiar with the massive, 4-foot-by-8-foot signs that cover the district by Election Day.

In campaign world, we call them barn signs.

Republicans have A LOT of practice blanketing the district with barn signs, and they’ve perfected their strategy. The night before the legal 90-day barn sign period begins, they send crews out all night putting up their (usually very ugly) signs.

Because there are only a limited number of legal spots for these signs, if we act too slowly, they’ll all get taken by the Republicans.

I’m ready to counter the GOP's barn sign operation, but barn signs aren’t cheap. Each sign runs for $58. If you add shipping and installation, that costs another $62 for a total of $120 per barn sign. We need to get hundreds of these up.
