Earlier this summer, we were happy to be able to include solar panels in a shipment out of our Lynchburg location. The shipping container also included Rise Against Hunger meals and medical aid bound for the New HOPE Hospital in Cap Haitien, Haiti. | Luke, age 10, lives in a small town in Lusaka, Zambia, with his mother and siblings. Luke’s father passed away when he was young, and his older brothers provide for his family by selling vegetables and finding odd jobs. Luke’s circumstances might be different than other boys his age, but what is remarkable about Luke’s story is that he shares similar goals for the future. Last Chance: We Need 54 More Backpacks for Kids in Need! |
| We’re wrapping up our efforts to provide new backpacks and school supplies for kids in need this back-to-school season, but there’s still time to help! So far, we have raised funds to purchase 246 backpacks, but hope to purchase 54 more before the end of the month! This will provide enough backpacks for 10 classrooms of 30 students. Will you help?
