MADISON — Gov. Tony Evers delivered his weekly radio address highlighting visits from his annual 72-county tour of Wisconsin, which the governor completed earlier this month. Since taking office in 2019, Gov. Evers has visited each of Wisconsin’s 72 counties every year he’s served as governor with the exception of 2020, when the coronavirus pandemic prevented travel for much of the year. The governor spends the majority of his time each week meeting with and hearing directly from Wisconsinites where they are at—their schools and campuses, homes, farms, small businesses, hospitals, libraries, and everywhere in between. Gov. Evers again completed [ [link removed] ] his annual tour of Wisconsin’s 72 counties in 2025 and plans to begin his seventh and final 72-county tour as governor after the New Year in 2026.

"Every year, I make it a goal to visit all 72 counties in our state to talk with business owners, local leaders, farmers, educators, you name it, to hear about the issues important to them. "

"And I am proud to announce that for the fifth year in a row and for the sixth time as governor, I have once again completed that mission. "

"Because my most important job as governor is to listen to the people of Wisconsin, whether they voted for me or not, and it’s a job I take seriously. "

"So, I visited Rhinelander to talk with folks about how we’re working to lower everyday, out-of-pocket costs for working Wisconsinites and families. "

"I visited a shooting range in Mequon to talk about efforts to expand access to safe gun storage, prevent suicides, and keep kids, families, and communities safe. "

"I visited St. Croix Falls to celebrate a new workforce housing development for workers and families. "

"I visited small businesses in Adams, Burnett, and Richland Counties, farmers in Calumet, Clark, and Lafayette Counties, and schools in Marathon, La Crosse, and Dunn Counties—just to name a few! "

"I delivered meals to seniors in Mondovi, filled potholes in Ashland, and ate a whole lot of ice cream in places like Manitowoc, Stevens Point, and Kenosha. "

"I tried pickle pizza in Star Prairie, took a trolley tour with Kathy in Door County, and saw the state’s largest waterfall in Superior. "

"From cheese plants to planting trees, my travel this year took me all over our great state. "

"While I’ve lived in Wisconsin my whole life, every day, I learned something new. "

"So, I want to share a big thanks to everyone who welcomed me into your homes, businesses, farms, and schools. "
