We know what the New Year’s resolutions of Donald Trump and his Republican cronies look like:

- Forcing states to pass extreme partisan gerrymanders

- Undermining our free and fair elections

- Scheming to deny Americans a voice in their representation

But guess what? Those resolutions are not going to come to pass. Because we resolve to fight them every step of the way — and win.

As Attorney General Eric Holder said recently:

“The people are pushing back. The American people are slow to rouse, but once they get energized, they become a mighty force. And that's what we're going to see in 2026.”

This year, we’ve faced attacks on so many fronts — from blatant attempts to dilute the voting power of communities of color through redistricting to politicized attempts to remake the 2030 census. These battles are still in progress . So what we do now is essential to our democracy.
