Your support is needed to rebuild lives

Dear John,

In case you weren’t able to review the email we sent yesterday, we wanted to reach out once more. Families facing winter in damaged homes or temporary shelters are relying on UNHCR’s support, and your contribution could help provide warmth, protection and the chance for vulnerable families to rebuild their lives in the New Year. 🕊️

Thank you for considering the impact you can make!

Regards,

Jordan. A Day in the Life of Children in Zaatari Camp.

Dear John,

New Year should be a time of hope 🕊️ and excitement for the year ahead. But midwinter can be one of the hardest times for people who have been forced to flee.

Families in Ukraine and Syria are trying to rebuild their lives in damaged or destroyed homes. Refugees in Lebanon and Jordan endure cramped houses with no heating. In Afghanistan, millions have returned from Iran and Pakistan, many not by choice. At UNHCR, our hope 🕊️ this New Year and every year is simple. Our vision is a world where every person forced to flee can build a better future, but we need your help to get there.

Let's work together to change the outlook for the families
This new year

By making a donation to UNHCR, you could provide a lifeline for people forced to flee in 2026. Your support could help in lots of other amazing ways too, from providing access to health care and legal advice, to counselling and even spaces for children in need of our help.

Help us give hope 🕊️ to families this New Year.

Thank you very much,

Monia Hassan
