Dear John,

TAKE ACTION: Tell the Climate Change Task Force to prioritize bold solutions on climate.

As we head into the hottest months of the year, we are reminded that climate change continues to be the biggest threat facing our planet.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Governor’s Climate Change Task Force Listening Sessions over the last month to share why Wisconsin needs to pursue bold and equitable climate solutions.

But, don’t worry if you weren’t able to join, you can still make your voice heard!

Sign the petition here.

The Governor’s Task Force on Climate Change was formed by Gov. Tony Evers in October 2019 to help Wisconsin chart a path to meet the goal of 100 percent carbon-free electricity by 2050.

Chaired by Lt. Governor Mandela Barnes and comprised of a variety of stakeholders, the task force is developing a strategy to mitigate and adapt to the effects of climate change for the benefit of all Wisconsin communities.

As part of its responsibilities, the task force is gathering input from Wisconsinites on how climate change is impacting the health and well-being of their communities and economies.

You have until Friday, July 31 to submit your own written comments here.

Or, you can add your name to our petition, which we will be submitting along with our organizational comments. We will have our petition open until Thursday, July 30.

Thank you for being a conservation voter,
