Team, Earlier this week, we shared with you that Ann Wagner took almost $100,000 from corporate PACs -- including from pharmaceutical and health insurance companies -- last quarter. It’s no wonder Wagner has consistently chosen to side with the interests of big corporations over the people of our community because they’re the ones bankrolling her campaign. Enough is enough, team. Sign our petition and call on Congress to pass comprehensive campaign finance reform and get big money out of politics.
As a member of Congress, Ann Wagner has taken $148,000 in campaign contributions from big drug companies and then voted against a bipartisan bill that would lower the price of prescription drugs. This kind of corruption is all too common in our politics thanks to misguided campaign finance laws that allow big corporations to buy influence over politicians like Ann Wagner. Not Jill Schupp. Jill is proud to run a truly grassroots campaign and reject all corporate PAC money in this race, because the only people she is focused on fighting for in Congress are the people and families of Missouri’s Second District. Will you stand with Jill in calling for comprehensive campaign finance reform to end the influence of big corporations in our politics?
Thank you for standing with Jill on this important issue. --Team Schupp
