Just one year ago, our nation was in the final days of what was easily the most incompetent and wicked regime in American history, surpassing even the Obama Administration in the acceleration of American decay and decline. Praise God that, in 2025, we have been blessed to have some sanity restored!

While I certainly don’t agree with everything President Trump says or even does, he is a vastly superior leader than his predecessor, and God has used him to bless the American people in many ways.

That’s why I found his recent answer to a question about whether he’d get into heaven particularly heartbreaking:  (https://www.youtube.com/shorts/0QJnHJZTtBE). 

While I do not pretend to know the ins-and-outs of Trump’s faith or the state of his soul, his own words indicate a lack of assurance of his salvation, a belief that good works save, and a hesitancy that he can ultimately balance the scales on a life that has been publicly sinful. 

It certainly appears that, at this point, Donald Trump is a man who respects faith, acknowledges a higher power, yet has not submitted his life to the lordship of Jesus Christ.

[I have bad news for President Trump: he can’t balance the scales. Yet, I have GREAT news: the scales don’t matter. Nothing is beyond the power of the saving work of Jesus!]

It’s important that we pray for President Trump, but it’s also imperative that we engage the Church – and its shepherds (the pastors) – in active ministry to our leaders right here in Georgia.

That’s why I’m asking you to support our Church Ambassador Network.

We have the right guy at the helm of this impactful ministry. Since starting with Frontline in August, Joseph D’Angelo has traveled the state building upon our network of pastors. And, when the legislative session convenes in January, we will expand our pastoral presence at the Capitol.

These pastors, with Joseph’s leadership, will meet with our leaders, share God’s Word, get to know them as people, pray over them, speak with prophetic voice over key decisions, and engage the Church as the hands and feet of Jesus in solving problems facing our state.

• Authentic ministry, relationship, and biblical encouragement provided to those making difficult decisions for our state

As I think about all the good that Donald Trump has done, I do consider how much more good could be done if the Church were fully committed to prayer for him, prayer for his soul, and engaging his administration with prophetic voice – willing to speak for good and against wrong, regardless of the political cost.

We can do this right here in Georgia! Our next Governor will need biblical support and prayer as they wrestle with decisions over whether to expand gambling, protect life, offer school choice, how to address the crisis of homelessness and mental health, and so much more. The Church must step up!
