Hi John,

This is the sacred Chaco Canyon in the photo above.👆It’s under immediate threat.

We need your urgent help to stop Trump and his Big Oil and Gas buddies who are rushing to eliminate the buffer zone that protects Chaco Canyon ([link removed])—a sacred 500-square-mile region in northwestern New Mexico and home to thousands of Navajo and Pueblo families.

STAND UP FOR CHACO CANYON ([link removed])

Since we last updated you, this UNESCO World Heritage site, where generations of sacred ceremonies began—has moved closer to being opened to drilling in just days.

More than 90% of Greater Chaco is already leased for fracking. Over 40,000 oil and gas wells surround Navajo homes, poisoning the air, draining scarce water, and making families sick. Each new well uses up to four million gallons of water—water these communities need to survive.

We’ve been working alongside Native communities, the New Mexico congressional delegation, and other partners to defeat Trump’s plans to drill across Chaco Canyon.

But time is running out. Trump and Big Oil companies are pushing forward—even through the holidays to try and take over Chaco Canyon. We can’t let that happen.

We need your help! Will you donate today so we can stop Trump and his big oil and gas cronies and hold them accountable? Every donation today will be matched, and go 2X as far to support our critical work. ([link removed])

DONATE NOW ([link removed])

If Trump succeeds here, no protected land is safe. Stand with the people of Chaco Canyon before it’s too late.

In solidarity,

Kendra Pinto
Four Corners Indigenous Community Field Advocate

P.S. Your tax-deductible donation will be matched dollar-for-dollar and help us stop big oil, gas, and irresponsible mining on sacred and public lands. ([link removed])
