Rashida Tlaib was one of the first Muslim women ever elected to Congress. Since being sworn in, Rashida has stood tall with the Squad in calling for massive change and progress for all Americans. Just yesterday, she co-sponsored a bill presented by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez that would require law enforcement to display identification. This should be a no-brainer.
Rep. Tlaib has advocated for a Green New Deal, Medicare for All, and housing as a human right. We need Rashida to remain in Congress, being the bold progressive voice she has been for the last two years.
Well, the establishment never rests. Rashida’s being challenged this year by another Democrat in the primary, less than two weeks from now! Voters in Michigan are already casting ballots, so there is no time to lose in reaching as many people as we can.

Rashida has noted that her challenger doesn’t live in Michigan’s 13th district. As an organization we support primary choices but also support the right candidates. Rashida is the right candidate for her district.
