After we outraised Donald Trump two months in a row and closed the cash-on-hand gap by a $100 million in the second quarter, he's ramping things up. Just take a look at a couple of the latest Trump fundraising developments:

1. In a fundraiser held earlier this week at Trump International Hotel Washington, Trump and Republicans were expected to raise $5 million in a single night.

2. At the end of the month, Trump will travel to Florida (a COVID-19 hotspot) to hold in-person fundraising events, including one at his own golf resort.

Look, Trump's fundraising events present clear conflicts of interest, on top of ignoring social distancing guidelines. But, we still have to fight back against the big sum of money we can expect him to raise.

So as we approach 100 days to Election Day, we all have to make sure we keep our own grassroots fundraising operation running at full-steam. That's why it's imperative that we have the resources to win, and we can't miss any fundraising goals along the way.
