Dear National Park Advocate,
We have some wonderful news to share with you! Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Great American Outdoors Act. Thanks to park advocates like you, national parks are about to get the care they need and deserve.
For two decades, NPCA, park advocates and communities across the country have spoken out urging Congress to fix our parks and preserve America’s legacy. The Great American Outdoors Act addresses critical repair needs in our national parks and public lands. It ensures a future for nature to thrive, our history to be protected, for kids to play and grow... and for all to enjoy.
This is quite possibly the biggest victory for the National Park System in half a century. You made this possible, National Park Advocate.
Park advocates like you have held countless meetings with legislators, made their phones ring off their hooks, and filled inboxes and newspapers with messages full of support for national parks. You showed leaders in Washington that parks truly bring people together, even in these divided times.
Join us in celebrating this major victory with a special Park Talk tomorrow, Thursday, July 23, at 1 PM ET. We’ll hear from NPCA experts on why this bill matters, how we got here, and what comes next for America’s national parks.

After you sign up for the Park Talk, be sure to share the news of this park victory by watching and sharing our celebration video on Facebook:

And if you're ready to keep up the momentum for parks, you can visit our Action Center and tell Congress that the job is not done on national parks.
Thank you for supporting America’s national parks and thank you for what you’ve done to make today’s victory possible.
