Dear Anonymous,

Good news! Congress just passed the Great American Outdoors Act, which will fully and permanently fund the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF).

With this vote, we're one step closer to the biggest conservation win in a generation, and President Trump has expressed support. Now, the bill is in his hands.

Join Environment Colorado in calling on President Trump to sign the Great American Outdoors Act into law.

From Grand Teton National Park to neighborhood baseball diamonds, LWCF is critical to preserving public lands of all shapes and sizes. It's one of our nation's most successful conservation and recreation programs, and has funded at least one project in almost every county in every state across the country.[1,2]

President Trump recently tweeted his intent to sign full and permanent funding of LWCF into law -- but at other times he's threatened to slash the program's budget.[3]

President Trump needs to hear from Coloradans like you. Tell the president: Protect our national parks, wildlife refuges and more for generations to come.

Anonymous, it's with the help of tens of thousands of supporters like you that we were able to play a part in this victory. Environment Colorado sent more than 20,000 messages to Congress urging our representatives to support full and permanent funding for LWCF. Our national network also launched billboard campaigns in several states calling on representatives to save LWCF, published a steady series of op-eds, and lobbied on Capitol Hill on behalf of this legislation.

Now, we need your help to ensure that this chance to protect our national parks, wildlife refuges and more doesn't pass us by. President Trump's signature is the last step in the process of protecting LWCF, and, by raising our voices, we can urge him to preserve our public lands.

Take action.
