As the year draws to a close, John, the stakes for immigrants and for due process could not be higher. Our neighbors are being arrested without warrants, families are torn apart, and judicial orders are ignored. In the face of these attacks, the National Immigrant Justice Center (NIJC) and our communities have fought especially hard this year to preserve due process and defend human rights.

Because of supporters like you, justice still prevails. With your partnership, NIJC wins freedom for people in detention, reunites families, and empowers people with the information they need to exercise their rights.

Earlier this year we shared the story of Wilson, one of NIJC’s courageous clients who fled persecution in Rwanda after being jailed and beaten for his political beliefs. When he appeared in immigration court earlier this year, knowing there was a risk he would be detained, he said, “I will show up because I believe in American justice.” That belief was rewarded when he won his case and secured safety in the United States.

As we look ahead to an even more challenging year, NIJC is committed to meeting this moment head-on. But we can’t do this without your support. Please make a gift by the end of the year.

Gifts up to $100,000 will be matched by our generous partners, Stephanie Schweitzer and Nicholas Seeley. Your impact will be doubled at a time when it is needed most.

Give now and your donation will be doubled: https://immigrantjustice.org/donate

With your gift today, NIJC will start the new year ready to defend justice, keep families together, and protect the rights of our immigrant neighbors.

Thank you for being a part of the NIJC community.

Gratefully,

Carrie Schwarz
