As We Honor the Winter Solstice, We Reflect, Renew, and Move Forward Together

At this time of reflection, rest, and the return of light, we are filled with gratitude for the community that makes this work possible.

Your support, solidarity, and belief in Indigenous leadership have carried the Indigenous Environmental Network through another powerful year of organizing, community care, and movement building.

Indigenous Environmental Network continues to stand on the frontlines of climate justice; defending land, water, air, and the rights of Indigenous Peoples at a time when these struggles are more urgent than ever. Across our communities, Indigenous Peoples are confronting escalating climate impacts and fossil fuel expansion, while continuing to lead with solutions rooted in culture, sovereignty, and collective care.

Together, we have strengthened Indigenous-led climate justice movements, defended land and water, advanced Indigenous Just Transition solutions, and uplifted matriarchal leadership grounded in responsibility to future generations. These collective efforts show what is possible when we move in relationship and solidarity.

This year alone, Indigenous Environmental Network supported Indigenous-led community efforts across dozens of frontline regions, strengthening climate justice work rooted in Indigenous knowledge and self-determination.

As the year comes to a close and the light begins to return, we invite you to stand with us.
