Earlier this year, Advocates took a bold stand and returned our federal funding in protest to the administration’s anti-DEI and anti-trans initiatives. But we didn’t stop working or fighting. We continued to do groundbreaking work to champion health, rights, and justice for young people.

As we approach the end of 2024, I’m reading through Advocates for Youth’s 2025 Annual Report, reflecting on what a challenging year it has been for Advocates’ young people and staff - and thinking about the resilience, determination, and resources it will take to keep this fight going in 2026.

Here’s a quick peek at our impact. And it’s just scratching the surface of all the work Advocates for Youth in partnership with young people has accomplished this year.
