Here in Florida, we are all too familiar with the ripples of
tragedy inflicted on communities through mass shootings.

That's why it's so sickening that Florida Attorney General
Ashley Moody and Governor Ron DeSantis are actively trying to
block the right of voters to decide on a common-sense assault
weapons ban.

The majority of Floridians want to ban assault weapons, and
since this is a democracy, we should be able to exercise our
constitutional right to place it on the ballot for an up or down
vote.

Unfortunately, Moody and DeSantis have decided to value the
profits of gun companies more than American democracy or the
safety of Florida families.

Demand that Republicans stop blocking an assault weapons ban
from appearing on the ballot!
