Here is the truth:

Over the past several months our movement has won some major primary victories.

We've helped candidates like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Mondaire Jones, Jamaal Bowman and others win their primaries so they can go on to create the most progressive Congress in American history.

We've also stood with District Attorney candidates like José Garza, Amy Padden, and Alonzo Payne who will fight against a criminal justice system that criminalizes poverty, perpetuates institutionalized racism, and continues a failed war on drugs that has devastated communities of color.

There are more progressive candidates with primaries coming up very soon — so our job between now and their elections is to do everything we can to help them win at the federal, state, and local levels.

Because not only do we need their voices in office, but their grassroots campaigns will energize working people all over the country. And that is how we begin to transform America.

So I am asking you directly:

Our goal has always been to create a government that represents all of us, not just the wealthy few. And the way we do that is by building an unprecedented grassroots movement working to elect progressives up and down the ballot.
