This email is about our fundraising progress for the month. Now, I really don’t love sending these types of emails. But the alternative is worse.

Our campaign takes $0 from PACs. That includes corporate PAC money too. You might know that most incumbents don’t run that way. We think this path is better.

But it makes fundraising a bit harder. My team says that, right now, we’re running about 15% behind where we were at this point last month.

That’s why I’m asking: Can you help us close the gap? We’re counting on grassroots folks to step up.
