Donald Trump is laying the groundwork for yet another violent riot by his MAGA supporters.

Trump issued a symbolic pardon of Tina Peters for her state felony convictions of election interference and tampering with election data and voting equipment—a power he does not have.

But that hasn't stopped MAGA foot soldiers from answering Trump’s call and organizing a prison break for “political prisoner” Tina Peters.

One of Tina Peters’ own lawyers has even said that Trump could be justified in “deploying military units” to bust Tina out of prison.

After the Capitol riot on January 6, these threats must be taken seriously. Trump’s “revenge tour” has been getting increasingly brazen. It would not be ridiculous to think he might encourage his followers to do this.

This is dangerous. Colorado’s ultra-MAGA Lauren Boebert is happily tossing fuel on top of this dumpster fire. If there is violence or bloodshed, Boebert will be directly responsible and must be held accountable.
