I’ll make this quick. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has stepped
up for this campaign as we close out our most important quarter yet.
People are watching us. They want to know if this campaign is the real
deal, and if they should join, too. There is real excitement about the
opportunity to send a progressive fighter to the U.S. Senate.
But there is also some uneasiness. So many of us have had our hopes raised
by campaigns that fell short in the past.
When you make a contribution (or, as is the case so often, an additional
contribution), it helps people see that what we’re doing is possible. It
proves that their support can be the margin of difference, and that if
they join us, they’ll find themselves in good company.
From the beginning, we’re the only Democrat in the race to say no to
corporate PAC and AIPAC checks. Instead, we are 100% focused on building a
campaign of, by, and for the people. It’s the best way to run, and it’s
the only way to win.
But that also means we have to lean a little harder on generosity from
people like you receiving emails like this. And there are few moments more
critical than these final hours before our end-of-year FEC deadline. So I
have to ask…
