Friend, there's a feeling that always comes over me at the end of the year — a mix of gratitude, heaviness, and a deep hope for what's possible. Being a gun violence survivor in this movement is not always easy, but I always know that this community is here to support me and every survivor and activist striving for change. 

Together, we have pushed for policies that save lives. We have held the gun industry accountable in court. We have uplifted community violence interrupters and brought more people to this movement than ever before. You helped make all of that possible, friend.
