This is a long email, but it’s important. I hope you will take the time to read it.

I can’t count the number of times folks have told me how scared they are of losing their health insurance. Or not being able to afford putting food on the table or paying for their kid’s college tuition. I’ve lost count.

My name may be on the ballot in November, but this race isn’t about me. It’s about you — and other folks out there just like you. It’s about creating a future where no one lives in fear of going broke just because they get sick or buckling under student debt.

I hate asking you to pitch in, I really do. I know how hard you work for every dollar you have. And I know how challenging this time is for so many of you.

But I want you to know that every time I ask for your help, it’s because we need every dollar we can muster to build the kind of grassroots campaign that can knock out the wealthy donors and corporations trying to swing this election and stack the deck against everyday Americans.

Every donation matters, no matter how large or small — and every penny you can spare is an investment in the work we’re doing to create a better future for all of us.

That’s why I have to do the thing I hate and ask you to donate today. If we win our race, you will continue to have a Senator working her heart out in Washington and fighting for everyone who needs a helping hand. Chip in toward our weekly goal right here:

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

I hope you know how grateful I am to have you by my side in this campaign. I wouldn’t be here without your support every step of the way. Thank you.
