There’s been another alarming escalation in the Trump administration’s campaign to seize sensitive election data from states, and it’s a direct attack on voter privacy and state control of elections.

The DOJ is suing multiple states to force them to turn over full, unredacted voter rolls – including names, addresses, driver’s license numbers, and partial Social Security numbers.

This isn’t routine list maintenance. It’s a sweeping federal power grab, and experts are warning it could be used to justify mass voter purges or build a national surveillance system of eligible voters.

States like Colorado, Hawaii, Massachusetts, and Nevada have refused — and now they’re being dragged to court for protecting their voters.

We can’t let this become the new normal.
