Dear John,
Time flies. It's hard to believe that we are at the end of 2025. It is a year where we have seen so much devastation from Donald Trump. He has ripped away healthcare from millions, raised prices for all of us, devastated families and communities with his draconian immigration policies, and caused chaos here and across the world.
But it is also the year when we fought back, when we heard Pennsylvanians and Americans say, "Enough!"
As our only physician-legislator in state government and only elected immigrant/naturalized citizen in state or federal office in Pennsylvania, I have led efforts to reverse Donald Trump's devastating policies. Specifically, I have advanced legislation with bipartisan colleagues to:
- Prevent Medical Debt
- Protect Vaccine Access
- Develop Clean Energy
- Help Military Families
- Treat Substance Use Disorders
- Fund our Public Schools
- Cut Costs and Taxes for Working Families and Senior Citizens
- Make Healthcare More Affordable and Accessible
- Impose Accountability in the Use of Artificial Intelligence
- Welcome Immigrants to Pennsylvania
I won't be cowed by Donald Trump nor will I allow him to advance an agenda that hurts all of us.
