Every day I am aware that running against the Albany establishment is not easy. And that they will throw everything they have at us to protect their power.

But then I remember what we teach our boys every day - doing the right thing is rarely easy and yet always worth it. I know Antonio and I are working this hard because NY is at a tipping point. I am tired of families checking their bank accounts with a knot in their stomach, while leaders ask "What's in it for me?"

Kathy Hochul deciding a dirty oil pipeline is worth damaging our state just to enrich her husband's clients? That’s a transaction, not leadership.

Leading with love means having the courage to fight for clean air and our neighbors. Especially when PACs fight back.

When we got into politics I was highly aware that the "easy" path is bought by corporate PACs. We nonetheless made a very clear choice then to not take that path and we have stayed true to that. Antonio has never taken corporate money. Our path is paved by people like you. We have a critical deadline coming up.
