The Minnesota Department of Commerce (“Department”) seeks proposals from eligible schools (“Applicants”) throughout Minnesota for the state's Air Ventilation Pilot Grant Program (HVAC Program). [ [link removed] ]

The HVAC Program established by the State Legislature (Minn. Stats. § 123B.662 [ [link removed] ] and 123B.663 [ [link removed] ]) is designed* to improve the health and safety of school communities, and to improve energy efficiency* and reduce greenhouse gas emissions from school facilities. Eligible schools include public and charter schools which own their own facilities.

A Request for Proposal (RFP) and required forms are available for download on the Department’s website (mn.gov/commerce/business/rfp.jsp [ [link removed] ]) search reference number COMM-AVP01-20250512. To apply for this grant opportunity, Applicant must complete an application through the Department’s grant application portal. Full application instructions can be found in the RFP.
