| Friend, This is it for today. I'm going to be honest with you. Right now - I'm drawing a blank. I haven't scratched my head this much since Law School, and I feel like a dog chasing its tail because no matter what I do, nothing's working. Democrats have just about whipped the Red Wave back to where it started - and everything that we've built in this nation is in danger of being dismantled, scrapped, and forgotten. I need your help, and I need you to listen. I've tried and tried again to ensure that we've got everything we need to Defend the Senate in November, but everything I've done has proven about as useful as a football bat. Our fundraising is plummeting. I'm getting phone calls from my staff hounding me to get back to work because they're saying that fundraising has halted entirely in the past few hours. Usually, I'd worry about more pressing matters, but then I looked at the headlines and saw how much money the Democrats are raising. I had to heat up a pot of coffee and get to work. I can't put my mind at ease until I've seen one more showing of support from EVERYBODY on Team Kennedy before Midnight.
