I’m not blowing smoke when I say that the 2026 Midterm cycle is one of the most important slate of elections of my lifetime.

With battlegrounds all across the country, you might be surprised to learn that I just can’t take my eyes off of Iowa. Seriously!

The National Journal said Rob Sand “might be the strongest Democrat running statewide anywhere in the country this cycle,” and listed Iowa on their list of 10 most flippable governor’s races.

My decades of experience are telling me the same thing, John.

It would be foolish to take our eye off the prize now, which is why I’m asking you to help him win this governor’s race today. Will you split a $25 donation between The Majority Rules and Rob Sand’s campaign before his FIRST filing deadline on 12/31?

While the field of partisan insiders clamoring to take on Rob is particularly messy, polls show that Rob and his team are in the driver’s seat.

In fact, a recent poll showed Rob leading one of his possible opponents by 2 points.

I don’t need to tell you what a big deal this is, John.

The partisans running the show for the last decade have underfunded public schools, endangered folks’ health care, closed rural hospitals, and watched as jobs, opportunities, and people leave Iowa to go elsewhere.

Look, we’ve been burned by Iowa before, but polling and on-the-ground sentiment is that Iowans are ready for something better.

Rob Sand is the best candidate — and perhaps the only one — who can speak to the concerns of everyday Iowans, regardless of their political leanings.

But he needs YOUR help before his FIRST public fundraising deadline, John. Can Rob count on you to split a donation so his team has the resources to respond to partisan attacks, get folks the facts, and restore public trust in government?
