Dear John,
No matter what 2026 throws at us, we will be there – at the General Assembly and in communities across North Carolina – fighting for a safe environment and a healthy democracy, just as we have throughout 2025.
This year has been a doozy. Pro-polluter interests have clawed back critical environmental protections, all so ultra-wealthy polluters can get even richer. While these rollbacks have set us back years, together we’ve still made meaningful, incremental progress.
Because of your support this year, we expanded voter registration, education, and turnout efforts – and provided vital aid and resources to underserved communities recovering from climate disasters like Hurricane Helene. Your voice also helped pressure Senator Thom Tillis to vote against Trump’s harmful budget bill. While it wasn’t the deciding vote, we sent a clear message: North Carolina will not bend the knee to every whim of the President.
We’ve fought for you this year, and we’re ready to keep fighting in 2026.
You can help power this work by making one final donation before the end of the year. [[link removed]]
When you give, you help us:
* continue organizing in communities across our state,
* keep pressure on lawmakers to protect our air, water, and communities,
* elect more pro-environment and pro-democracy champions in the 2026 elections, and
* fight alongside our national partners and state league affiliates at the federal level.
None of this work is possible without you.

Thank you for standing with us,

P.S. Every victory we’ve had this year – no matter how small – was powered by people like you. A year-end gift ensures we can keep showing up for North Carolina when it matters most. [[link removed]]
